Description
In this class, students will learn the basics of computer art and design through self-expression and exploration. For the main activity of the class, students will create an autobiographical slideshow using digital and traditional art forms. We will draw self-portraits, make digital and traditional collages, play with word art, and have fun sharing our favorite things!
Objectives
Create and present slideshows
Demonstrate understanding of proportion, symmetry, and balance on the page and screen
Use different types of objects (animation, shapes, images, textbox) in digital media
Practice public speaking skills
Practice storytelling skills
Learn about digital citizenship
